Please do boost on the B20Z.

Don't touch the rods bolts. Almost worthless to change rod bolts on the stock rods. you will have to resize the rod ends and change the rod bearings to do it right.

So, keep the initial boost low. Work out the tuning. Use the J&S from the begining (install it first, get used to it).

You can probably run 6-8 Psi on a M62 as long as you can keep the detonation away.

Hurry up. We want to see nice results. smile

LS avenger, I am planning to run a B20Z with a setup very similar to yours. I'd like to see some dyno plots if you've got em. I'd appreciate it. Whats your torque curve like on average after 3000rpms, and what is your peak torque?

Search the archives back in June/July there was a while discussion around this.

On the B20 we never planned on going over the 5 or 6 psi of boost so that was the reason for the M45. With that end in mind the m45 is the right blower because it is in its sweet spot. The M62 would work to that end but we felt it might be a little lazy on the bottom end especially if you were towing something.
No comment on the B18B. I am in agreement with an M62.
